Ok well lately I have been really interested in writting poems but I have a few questions. Is writting poems and poetry the same thing? Like when your writting poetry does it rhyme to like poems?.





And when your writting poems do all poems need to have a imagery ? Like you have to describe things and the reader has to be able to picture what the writter is talking about in there poem. ?





Because heres 2 poems that I had wrote and it just came to me so i wrote them down and stuff but do you think there pretty good?





1:


She has a smile on her face like everything is ok,


but deep inside she wants to run away. No one will understand


the way she feels, but shes just hoping for a place where this can all just heal. Shes also been through more then anyone can imagine, But just waiting for something good to happen.





2: I get these feelings that may be true, That I am falling quite hard over you. When you give me a hug, my heart beats 10 times fast, but then I remember this time wont last. So each night I stay up thinking of you, and just hoping you feel the same way too. Because i think i'm crazy in love with you.





Like are those 2 poems ok.

well yeah back to your question um i believe that poems and poetry have a little difference. and thats that poetry is just a little bit longer. other than that ebverything else is the same.





and the imagery part is totally up to you. and depends on what your writing about. if you want imagery you'll have to write longer in that case poetry. but these to are great and very relateable. ILL PICK U FOR THE BEST ANSWER. need tips, advice and things about poems and are these 2 ok..?
i enjoyed reading them. both are well-written and i can understand what it is saying ..its like a story. you should still write. do you enjoy writing? if you do, then don't stop. go for it =)
